Big Al Brewing
Feb0
This last weekend I went down to a brewery that has been opened for less than six months, Big Al Brewing. I first found out about this brewery last week when I went out to eat and there was a beer called the “local hero”, the waitress told us that it was a home brew selected by this new brewery to be brewed in bigger batches. My fiance and I thought that was an awesome idea and we decided that we should go see the brewery and what other beers were available.
The brewery is located in West Seattle, more specifically white center which is not exactly the best place in the world but hey it works for a start-up brewery
. Since we went in the afternoon trying all of the different brews in pint glasses was not something we were about to attempt, thankfully they had a sampler which served up all the beers for only $4.50, score! I particularly liked the Dark Roast and Irish Red. But all of the beers where good. Currently they only distribute growlers, pony and fully kegs but everyone has to start somewhere. I am looking forward to seeing more brews from this brewer and I am sure I will be going there again very soon.
The Good: Good local brew at a very decent price, supports home brewers
The Bad: Not a place I would like to go late at night
